Fishing boats under the stone viaduct of the Vallon des Auffes

Ports and seaside tour by electric bike

Duration:Half day (about 4 hours) Price:Price on requeste-bike rental included

Marseille has 57 km of coastline and most visitors see 500 metres of it. The electric bike solves the problem: in one morning we ride from the Vieux-Port to the last village before the Calanques, with stops at every cove worth a photo.

The route is almost entirely on seaside roads and cycle lanes. You do not need to be sporty; the motor takes the slopes of the Corniche and the climb into Les Goudes.

Highlights

  • The whole Corniche without the hills hurting
  • Vallon des Auffes and Malmousque, two villages inside the city
  • The Prado beaches and the marina of Pointe Rouge
  • Les Goudes and Callelongue, where the road ends
  • Lunch at a seaside restaurant we know and trust
